SCA - Brewing (Filter Coffee) ADVANCED / PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

The Professional Brewing Course is suitable for baristas with adequate experience who have successfully completed the Intermediate Brewing Course. We will examine how temperature, pH, water quality, roasting method, and grind size influence the flavour notes and extraction of coffee.

- Roasting method and coffee profile analysis
- Brewing with bypass
- Grind size and flavour analysis
- Extraction and strength
- Effect of temperature changes
- Acids – Coffee chemistry
- Water quality and its effects
The course concludes with practical and written exams on the third day, where we test the knowledge acquired during the course. Successful completion of the module is worth 25 points in the SCA Coffee Diploma System program.

SCA courses - What is SCA?
The SCA CDS (Coffee Diploma System) is an internationally recognized educational system that offers numerous training programs and helps those interested in coffee, from beginners to professional baristas, at various levels and topics.
The courses conclude with an exam, where the acquired knowledge is tested, and then the participant is awarded points corresponding to the course level in the SCA Coffee Diploma System program.
The participation fees include snacks, coffee, and a good atmosphere. 😊
