Gentle decaffeination with sugarcane 

Decaffeination is carried out using a natural process that involves mountain spring water and ethyl acetate (EA) extracted from sugarcane. EA is a natural compound also found in fruits and vegetables, so no artificial chemicals are used during the process. This gentle process removes caffeine without affecting the coffee's original aromas and natural character.

About the region

The Huila region, especially the Pitalito area, is one of Colombia's most outstanding coffee-producing regions. The high altitudes of the Andes, its volcanic soils, and balanced microclimate provide an ideal environment for coffee plants. Local farmers have meticulously cultivated their plantations for generations, as a result of which the region's specialty coffees are renowned for their clean, sweet, and balanced flavor profiles.
