Our new Ethiopia Guji (washed) and Kenya Kirinyaga (washed) coffee blend offers a special, vibrant, and elegantly complex drink that combines the best characteristics of the two regions. The character of the two coffees complements each other well: the result is a clean, fruity, and exciting flavor profile.
Flavor Profile:
This filter roast blend has a bright acidity and is extremely aromatic. The Ethiopian Guji brings delicate floral and honey notes, while the Kenyan Kirinyaga adds deeper currant and black tea tones. Together, they create a floral-fruity, citrusy, and layered cup, where sweet and acidic characteristics perfectly balance each other.
The aroma is dominated by white flowers, with rosehip and wildflower honey in the flavor notes, followed by a medium body and a clean, long-lasting floral-citrus finish.
This blend is ideal for:
· filter coffees (V60, Chemex, Kalita, Hoop), where the clean, complex acids shine through. It's worth experimenting with any device, as you'll get a complex flavor profile in the finished cups.
V60 Recipe Suggestion:
- Coffee: 18g
- Water: 300g
- Grind: medium filter (can be slightly finer than average V60)
- Water temperature: 95C-98C
- Total time: 2:30 minutes - 2:50 minutes
Flavor: Floral, bright, vibrant acidity, light honey and tea notes
Hoop: This blend also works well with immersion devices.

- Grind: medium filter
- Water temperature: 93C-95C
- Total time: 4-6 minutes
Flavor: Rounder body, more berry and deeper tea notes
